Peñate Named National Player of the Week

The National Premier Soccer League is proud to announce its sixth National Player of the Week for the 2013 regular season.

The winner, for the week ending May 12th, is FC Hasental forward Ericson Peñate.

Only 19 years old, Peñate played his club soccer for Real So Cal, starting with the club at age 10. He was part of both the U-16 and U-18 Development Academy teams. He also played for El Camino Real High School in Woodland Hills, CA. This is his first season with FC Hasental.

Ericson looks to play professionally, saying "Hasental is a good place to start on this long road."

The award, voted on by media from across the country, is part of the league’s commitment to honoring players, coaches, and staff for their exemplary work.  The announcement is made on Satudays during the regular season exclusively on NPSL social media.
