By Michael Quigg

Mass United has announced the promotion of Director of Game Day Operations Jonathan Langlois to General Manager. Jon has been with the club since its inception and his devotion has been unparalleled. Jon began his United career as Director of Game Day Operations but he has been invaluable in all aspects of club management. "I believe Jon is the right person for the job," said Mass United owner and head coach Jim Antonakas. "He has been with us from day one of this journey and he understands our organization... I know he'll do well."

Jon's undying enthusiasm for the game could not be restrained when I spoke to him about the promotion. "I am very excited to be given this opportunity," said the new GM. "It has been great working for Mass United as Director of Game Day Operations and I feel the club is ready to take the next step towards being the best organization in New England." He continued, "I'm thankful Jim has put his trust in me and I am ready to show he made the right decision."

The Lynn native is already focused on his first task as General Manager, to help ensure a successful 2013 on the field. "We want to build on what we've done the past two seasons and I think we're on the right course to do so. I'm very excited about this season and what we can accomplish."
