Fullerton, CA - The newest team in Orange County, California, The Fullerton Rangers of the NPSL will host two doubleheaders on January 9th and January 12th along with event organizers from WPSL’s LA Vikings. On January 9th, The Rangers will play FC Hasental followed by the LA Vikings taking on the Canadian National Team. On January 12th, The Rangers will then host NPSL South West Division Champions San Diego Flash along with head coach and Fox Soccer Channel analyst Warren Barton. On the same evening the LA Vikings kick off against the Mexican National Team. This super NPSL/WPSL double header will take place at the magnificent "Titan Stadium" on the campus of Cal State Fullerton.
Head Coach of the Fullerton Rangers and former Hollywood United assistant coach Humberto "EL Pony" Mier, former Mexican first division player said. "We are thrilled and excited to play this preliminary double header in our very own town and in front of our home fans and supporters. Titan Stadium is a magnificent venue that will surely allow us to continue our preparation into the 2012 season. The NPSL rivals will surely give us that battle to see the level of play that we are in as we continue in our path into the new NPSL season."
